I thought now that I am back from my 4 month trip, having been fortunate to escape Victoria back in May before lockdown, I would give you some feedback.
We left Sale in late May after setting up the Boat Hoist on the Hilux and fitting the 15hp Honda on the Motor Trolley, and fuel tank holder inside the 345 Sea Trek Tinnie. The motor arrived 2 days before we planned to leave so there was no time to water test. As soon as it arrived, I fitted it to the trolley, mounted it in the tinnie and put the boat on the roof.
I must admit that I had concerns, but I trusted you, your advice and most importantly, your products.
We did the full 670kms on the Oodnadatta Track from Maree to Marla. I conducted frequent checks even before we hit the dirt and corrugations but was more vigilant in these conditions.
I need not have been concerned. The boat, Motor Trolley and fuel tank rack did not budge at all.
Overall, we completed 14000 kms on the trip, about 1000kms on dirt tracks. We took the boat off and on the roof 3 times. Not once did the whole set up cause any concern. Tight as for the whole trip.
Thought you might like to hear all this. I can, will and already have endorsed your product and I hope you get a few sales from it. I’ve included a few pics for you.

We are on the road full time and needed an easy way to load our boat on 200 series , after a lot of home work decided on the boathoist system. The clencher was the rooftop trolley which allowed us to store outboard under the boat , topped off the complete system with trailer we have been over approx 2000 klms of dirt and a lot of hideous corrugated roads with nil problems. 10/10
Bought my boat loader and trailer 5 years ago and not one issue.
I left the bolts and plates on the back of my ute last trip and lost the lot. Phoned Steve and within a couple of days all the spare parts arrived at my door.
The service from this company is as good as its product and that is exceptional. I have taken my boat across every dirt track in OZ and not once has the boat loader roof racks let me down.

This is an amazing boat hoist that I had researched for a few years and every time I thought I had found a hoist to compare I always went back to BoatHoist and bought one around 2 years ago and it still works well and is backed up by Steve.

I purchased the Sidewinder boat loader, RT motor trolley and the folding boat trailer from Boathoist International at Taylors beach. The products perform very well, the boat loader has no trouble handling the 76 kg tinny with the outboard motor clamped on the RT trolley inside tinny (the motor fits inside my makocraft quite well). Loading and unloading the boat and motor is quick and easy. The folding trailer is very easy to assemble and performs well on the road. This setup if perfect for those wishing to take a tinny on their travels.
Great service and a great product, the trailer is simple and not too time consuming to put together, perfect for me taking my little tinnie camping and safely getting it to the boat ramp

After a lot of research I bought a tinny sideloader off Steve, best boatloader I have owned & I’ve had a few, boat hold down brackets work great. My only tip is be patient with installation & double check all measurements.
Best money I’ve spent. Easy to install and when I did have a question they guided me through it without a worry. Couldn’t recommend enough.
